This shift towards trading took place against the backdrop of the “Cognac crisis” following the downturn in the Japanese market, a period during which the Boinaud family chose to invest and prepare for the future rather than suffer the slowdown in the sector.
Under his leadership, Maison Boinaud has resolutely committed to a pioneering approach to sustainable development, becoming the first mission-driven company in Cognac, certified B Corp, and opening up new horizons with diversification into French whiskey and the international rollout of its brands.
